lots of people want to define what “living tiny” means. those are generally the same people that require definitions for everything and live inside the box…

there is no real or set definition for living tiny though the typical small or tiny house is around 100-400 square feet. my tiny house build will be about 240 sq. feet, not including added space from two overhead lofts. for some tiny house people, who are more literal about the concept of less is more, 240 sq. feet is excessive and then there are others who read 240 sq. feet and say, “no way could i do that!”

living in 100 square feet doesn’t work for me at this time, my current dream for myself happens and feels better in 240 square feet. maybe your dream for living tiny looks like downsizing from 1500 square feet to 750 square feet. whatever your dream may be, know that living tiny is less about meeting a proposed standard and more about living with purpose and to be happy… While not having to worry about excessive bills, excessive cleaning rituals, your mortgage loan… The list doesn’t end really.
